OK.Nerve is a decentralized digital asset service network, which is a set of cross-chain interactive protocols based on the NULS microservices framework and developed with ChainBox. The goal is to eliminate the isolation problem that most blockchains have, also, to establish a cross-chain interoperable asset interaction network, and provide all the underlying support for Defi applications ecosystem; letting digital asset holders enjoy truly secure, free and transparent Defi application services.

Nerve has been designed to complement NULS blockchain and use some of its capabilities including its smart contract’s VM. Its aim is to open the gates to interconnect several blockchain platforms enjoying our blockchain strengths.

Why does Nerve aim at NULS public chain ecology and build cross chain transactions，but without other public chain ecology？

嘉宾：

Nerve is designed to complement NULS blockchain, its design is a lot simpler than other cross-chain solutions because it doesn’t try to interconnect everything with everything and also doesn’t try to incorporate all possible features, for example, smart contracts are implemented in NULS and this functionality is not replicated in Nerve because it will use this functionality from NULS.

What other technical advantages does Nerve have?

No matter what technology your blockchain has now, if it doesn't have the ability to adapt to newer technologies your blockchain is destined to be deprecated, that's probably the only constant in technology, especially in crypto!

In this regard Nerve (and NULS) were designed from scratch with the ability to evolve and adapt faster than other crypto platforms using fewer resources thanks to its microservices infrastructure.

Let me put it this way, if Vitalik finds the ultimate scalability solution, while he is receiving the Turing award, we will pack the solution in a microservice and deploy it to our customers months before Ethereum, so blockchains connected to Nerve will be able to enjoy this kind of progress.

In some way, it's like projects investing huge amounts of resources researching are effectively working for us.

For example, as you can see in the screenshot, Nerve uses NULS's 11 basic modules completely unchanged even at the binary level, which reduced most of the development effort. We just needed to develop a new Consensus module (POC+BFT), a protocol conversion module, and the node feed module.

What consensus mechanisms does Nerve use?What is the difference or advantage between it and other cross-chain projects?

嘉宾：

Nerve adopts POCBFT, a consensus mechanism for independent innovation.

POC refers to Proof of Credit, this is the consensus mechanism used by NULS and BFT refers to Byzantine fault tolerance.

Nerve采用的是自主创新的共识机制POCBFT。POC指的是Proof of Credit，是信用共识机制的简称，是NULS创新使用的共识机制。BFT指的是拜占庭容错。

顾名思义，POCBFT是Nerve开发团队将POC和BFT结合之后的产物。

POC is a DPoS derived consensus mechanism that is very efficient, also it has an embedded mechanism to punish bad behaving nodes, and, of course, it allows all token holders to participate in staking and earn rewards.

POC是DPOS衍生的共识机制，可以实现轮流出块，做到公平高效，它还有一个嵌入式机制来惩罚行为不端的节点。同时，也可以让所有持币人参与Staking，赚取共识激励。

BFT was added to the Tendermint consensus mechanism adopted by another well-known cross-chain project: Cosmos. Its performance is about 6 ~ 8 seconds while Nerve will likely reach a block speed of about 1 ~ 3 seconds.

BFT的融合，让Nerve实现了区块链的不可回滚特性，即最终一致性。这使Nerve的区块确认时间进一步减少，可以实现更多的业务应用场景。

It can be seen that the combination of POC and BFT not only allows Nerve to inherit the advantages of the NULS POC consensus mechanism, but also allows Nerve to have an excellent performance.

可以看出POC和BFT结合，不仅让Nerve继承了NULS POC共识机制的优点，也让Nerve在性能上有了更加优异的延申。

What was NerveNetwork's first app?

嘉宾：

The first application built on Nerve is NDEX which is our own decentralized exchange… it will have a component that will make easy for other companies to build their own DEXs.

What's the maximum supply of Nerve Token ?

NVT’s maximum supply is 2.1 billion, with an initial circulation of 1.1 billion (1 billion will be generated by consensus nodes and virtual banks).

Nerve（NVT代币）发行最大总量为21亿枚，初始发行量为11亿枚，10亿枚通过共识节点和虚拟银行产出。

看起来非常清晰，那么NVT的代币经济、代币分配模型具体是什么样的呢？

So what is the economic model of the NVT?

嘉宾：

Let's begin with the intial distribution,we use it for early development .It's used for community construction in the early stage,as well as the recruitment of virtual banks. We will also airdrop 10 million NVT to NULS holders on 12nd,July.Besides,300 million NVT will be used for cornerstone investment,we are seeking for more institutions and partners.The last part with an amount of 600 million NVT is used for Foundation,200 million of them will permanently stake in virtual bank nodes.And 400 million are gradually unlocked monthly one year later after the mainnet launch in 20 months.More details can be found in the chart.

前面提到有十亿是由共识节点和虚拟银行 产生，请问Berzeck,如何成为Nerve主网节点获取挖矿收益呢？

How to become a mainnet node of Nerve to get mining rewards?

嘉宾：

Nerve’s main network nodes are divided into three types: ordinary nodes, consensus nodes, and virtual bank.

Nerve的主网节点分为三种类型：普通节点，共识节点，虚拟银行。

The ordinary nodes are responsible for functions such as transaction collecting, block and transaction verifying, and providing services for applications.Ordinary nodes will allocate consensus incentives based on the proportion of pledged assets in the pledged assets of the entire network.

普通节点:普通节点负责交易的收集、区块和交易验证、为应用提供服务等功能。普通节点会根据质押的资产占全网质押的资产的比例，来进行共识激励的分配。

The consensus nodes are responsible for the maintenance of the blockchain, and the mortgage deposit can be used to create the consensus node. The deposit cannot be less than 200,000 NVT. The number of consensus nodes on the Nerve main-net is fixed at 35, and the main-net will choose the 35 nodes with the highest deposit to become consensus nodes.

共识节点：共识节点负责区块链的维护，抵押保证金才能创建共识节点，保证金不可以低于20万NVT。Nerve主网的共识节点数量固定为35个，主网会挑选保证金最高的35个节点成为共识节点。

The virtual bank is responsible for the maintenance of cross-chain assets, including the creation and management of multi-signature accounts or smart contracts for parallel chains, the creation and broadcasting of asset transfer transactions, etc.The virtual bank is selected from the consensus nodes, and the default is the top 15 consensus nodes with the largest deposit The weight of the virtual bank’s reward is twice that of the consensus node.

虚拟银行:虚拟银行负责跨链资产的维护，包括创建和管理平行链的多签账户或智能合约，创建并广播资产转出交易等。虚拟银行从共识节点中选出， 默认为共识节点中保证金金额最多的15个共识节点。虚拟银行的收益权重比共识节点更高。

if you want to become a Nerve mainnet node owner and participate in staking, you need to hold at least 200,000 NVT.

如果你想成为Nerve主网节点，参与委托挖矿，至少需要持有20万个NVT。

If the number of asset pledges on your node can be ranked in the top 35 of the entire network, you can become a consensus node.

如果你的节点上的资产质押数量能排到全网节点的前35名，你就可以成为共识节点。

If you can become the top 15, you will also become a virtual bank node, You'll get more bang for your buck.

如果你能成为前15名，你将成为虚拟银行节点，这样你将会有更多的收益。

What are the growth plans for Nerve this year?

Sure!We've got NDEX open;

Next, we plan to invite top platforms and institutions in the industry to serve as bank nodes.

下一步，我们计划邀请业内顶级的平台或和机构作为虚拟银行节点。

July 2020：Nerve's main-net will be released

Q3 2020：NerveDEX trading platform, light wallet, staking will be available, and external interfaces will be opened.

今年七月，我们将发布Nerve的主网；

第三季度，我们将发布Nerve DEX、轻钱包。在那时，大家也可以在Nerve上委托，外部接口将会陆续开放。

After that we will continue docking more blockchains. In the near future, Nerve users will access seamless to various assets of BTC, ETH, ERC20, NULS, NRC20 and NULS parallel chains, and there are plans to support more mainstream blockchains.

How much TPS will be expected after the main network is launched?

We still don’t have a final number but NULS has 800-1000 TPS and NErve will be a lot faster!

NeverNetwork initiated the NULS holder 10:1 airdrop and planned to take a snapshot at NULS main network height 2620000 (approximately 12 July 2020).At present, there are many exchanges and institutions to support the air drop.
