BitZ饭饭：我先给大家介绍下 BitZ的这档栏目的含义。

BitZ饭饭：您好，请先介绍一下您自己吧。

Hello guys. Can you please introduce yourselves?

BZ:Hello everyone, good afternoon! I am Berzeck, NULS NTC members and community councilor. I am graduated from the Military Engineering College of La Paz, Bolivia, with a bachelor's degree in systems engineering. I have nearly 20 years of experience in system development and team management, served as IT director of a multinational company and project external consultant of the State Administration of Transportation.

I have been working for NULS since the end of 2018. With rich experience in using modular methods and microservices, I have led and completed the modular reconstruction of the underlying core of NULS 2.0 and the design and development of the microservice architecture with the other NTC members.

Everyone knows that Nerve is currently very popular in the market, so can you introduce the NVT project first?

BZ:Nerve is a decentralized digital asset service network, which is a set of cross-chain interactive protocols based on the NULS microservices framework and developed with ChainBox.

BZ：Nerve adopts a multi-layer and multi-chain architecture that integrates parachains and relay chains, and defines a set of interface protocols for public chain networks such as BTC and ETH, so that tokens such as BTC, ETH, ERC20, NULS, NRC20, etc. can be quickly transferred between different public chains.

This not only enables Nerve to form a differentiated competitiveness in the construction of the DeFi ecosystem, but it is also likely to become a landmark leap forward in the development of the blockchain.

There are also many cross-chain projects. What competitive advantages does Nerve have over other cross-chain projects?

BZ：Nerve is a project in the industry that truly realizes the technology of homogeneous cross-chain, smart contract assets cross-chain and heterogeneous cross-chainat the same time, while other cross-chain projects are still under development. Therefore, in terms of technical progress and landing, Nerve is already in a leading position.

BZ：Nerve is a Integrator of DeFi, which is including: heterogeneous cross-chain + cross-chain assets staking + NDEX (decentralized exchange), etc.

BZ：Currently NerveNetwork has 7 major technical highlights:

（1）Heterogeneous cross-chain, 15 virtual bank nodes manage cross-chain assets on the underlying chain; 35 consensus nodes package transactions and generate blocks; countless underlying nodes verify mainnet transactions for the underlying community governance and substitute at any time to ensure mainnet security.

（2）It can be confirmed within 2 seconds, Meanwhile the transferring service fee is almost zero, and it is the lightning network of BTC, ETH, ERC20.

（3）NerveDEX adopts the asset matching protocol on the underlying chain to realize the transparent transaction of multi-chain assets.

（4）Cross-chain mainstream assets, such as BTC, ETH, USDT, etc. can use NULS VM to implement various Defi and DApp applications.

（5）Docking a chain to realize multi-chain asset chain management, providing services for small exchanges, wallets, DApps, etc.

BZ：Nerve is designed to complement NULS blockchain, its design is a lot simpler than other cross-chain solutions because it doesn’t try to interconnect everything with everything and also doesn’t try to incorporate all possible features, for example, smart contracts are implemented in NULS and this functionality is not replicated in Nerve because it will use this functionality from NULS.

BZ：The online of Nerve mainnet means that in the cross-chain field, NULS ecology has landed its comprehensive technology, and will bring more ecological projects and users for NULS. When the ecology and Defi applications become more and more, it will be formed a strong ecology like a huge pool.

BZ：Nerve's multi-asset staking design will provide NULS with real application scenarios, which will really enhance the value of NULS. Nerve supports NULS staking, In the case of equal asset value, using NULS to participate in Nerve staking, the default earnings will be twice of other cross-chain assets.

BitZ饭饭：如今 DeFi 已经衍生出借贷、交易、稳定币等许多方向，Nerve 对自身 DeFi 生态的具体发展方向有怎样的计划？Nowadays， DeFi has derived many directions such as lending, trading, and stablecoins, what plans does Nerve have for the specific development direction of its own DeFi ecosystem?

BZ：Whether it is a heterogeneous cross-chain protocol, DEX, cross-chain asset staking or the following stablecoin protocol, Nerve is the hottest concept in the current industry. NVT is born for DeFi!

BZ：（1) Nerve main chain asset NVT can participate in staking, and other various cross-chain assets can also participate in staking. This is an innovation for Nerve in the cross-chain and Defi fields.

（2）The NDEX （Nerve decentralized exchange）application of its own (currently in public beta) will be opened after the nodes; and it will be docked to the OTC trading system later.

（3) Nerve is based on the NULS microservice architecture, and supports other projects or teams to use the Nerve module to customize their own DEX. In this low-cost way, it is realized one-click customization of DEX. Then DEXs, which are comparable to centralized exchanges in the future, may come soon.

（4) Stable coin [post-module]: Main network assets NVT and cross-chain assets (BTC, ETH, NULS) can be staked on the main network to obtain stable coins (xxx) and enter the secondary market for circulation. NVT supports the access of DAO organizations.

（5) Nerve can connect various blockchain projects simply, economically and efficiently. And it is planed that we will integrate more high quality projects and stablecoins to construct Nerve's ecology and Defi applications in the future.

BitZ饭饭：2020年DeFi比较火热，怎么看待 DeFi 未来的发展趋势？

DeFi is hot in 2020, how do you think about the future development trend of DeFi?

BZ：The prospect of Defi is to build a decentralized financial system, to achieve the globalization of digital assets and Defi applications, so that let more people enjoy the convenient and transparent financial services.

译文：DeFi的未来：就是要构建去中心化的金融系统，实现数字资产和Defi应用在全球范围内的普及，让更多人享受便捷、透明的金融服务。

BitZ饭饭：近期许多 DeFi 类应用遭到黑客攻击，这反映出 DeFi 市场怎样的问题？Nerve 能够避免这类问题吗？

Recently, many DeFi have been attacked by hackers. What kind of problems does this reflect in the DeFi market? Can Nerve avoid such problems?

BZ：For all the DeFi projects, security is the most core element. Most of Defi is coded through smart contracts, the security and efficiency of applications running on smart contracts are not as good as programs that are hard-coded directly at the bottom. Thus, Nerve has adopted a different architecture design from Ethereum.

BZ：Nerve does not have a smart contract， and the asset exchange protocol is supported on the chain. This protocol is directly supported in the bottom layer of the Nerve network and is jointly maintained by professional virtual bank nodes and consensus nodes. The systemic security risk is much smaller than the Defi application developed by smart contracts.

BitZ饭饭：Nerve节点竞选即将开始，如何成为Nerve节点？

Nerve node election will start, how to become a Nerve mainnet node owner and participate in staking?

BZ：Nerve’s main network nodes are divided into three types: Common nodes, consensus nodes, and virtual bank.

The virtual bank is responsible for the maintenance of cross-chain assets, including the creation and management of multi-signature accounts or smart contracts for parallel chains, the creation and broadcasting of asset transfer transactions, etc.

The consensus nodes are responsible for the maintenance of the blockchain.

The common nodes are responsible for functions such as transaction collecting, block and transaction verifying, and providing services for applications.

This kind of multi-consensus mechanism model can help different types of users have the opportunity to participate in the Nerve node consensus process, thus improve the stability and fairness of the Nerve network.

BZ：If you want to become a Nerve mainnet node owner and participate in staking, you need to hold at least 200,000 NVT. If the number of asset pledges on your node can be ranked in the top 35 of the entire network, you can become a consensus node. If you can become the top 15, you will also become a virtual bank node. Correspondingly, you'll get more rewards for different kind of nodes.

BZ：In addition to self-holding NVT to establish nodes, the best way is to establish its own mining pool to attract more people to transfer the pledge rights so that you can establish nodes. In this way, it will have the lowest cost and more opportunity to rank in the top 35.

We know the Nerve has its own DEX, Can you introduce NerveDEX?

BZ：NerveDex is scheduled to be online in August. and is currently in public beta. Decentralized exchange is Nerve's first step in creating DeFi. Nerve has been embedded the decentralized exchange (NDEX) in its underlying architecture.

BZ：Meanwhile, it supports other projects or teams to use the Nerve module to customize their own DEX. Can you share with us the Nerve development plan of this year?

BZ：On July 10, Nerve mainnet has been launched; in mid-August, Nerve will open the nodes and staking system.

BZ：Q3 2020：NerveDEX trading platform, light wallet, staking will be available, and external interfaces will be opened.

I believe that many users will buy NVT after the AMA. For the investors, the rise and fall of the market is a major thing for them. For investors in Nerve, what advices do you have?

BZ：As the DeFi heat wave continues, hundreds of DeFi projects have emerged on the market. When choosing a project, it is recommended not to blindly follow the hot spots, you must pay attention to high-quality projects and seize a good opportunity to participate.

1、NVT的DeFi可以实现跨链DeFi,这是一个比较少的DeFi，我认为这是以后DeFi的主要方式，是如何实现的？是否完全去中心化？

BZ：Nerve standardizes the way different blockchain structures are represented allowing developers to focus on the functionality of their apps instead of worrying in the implementation details of each asset their application will support, so this is not a small part of DeFi, it is one of the most important requirement a Defi framework must have.

About decentralization, as everything in life a compromise has been made so the platform is efficient secure and fast so its not perfectly decentralized, decentralization is a process not a product and right now there is no technology that can offer full decentralization, security and efficiency at the same time.

BZ：2020 is too soon to hope for structural changes in traditional financial services, this will take a few years. About your second question it depends of course of the quality of code and the team behind it, in our case the developers behind Nerve hava managed to create 3 blockchains that have complete different architecture microservices and WITHOUT any single serious issue on main net launch, something not even biggest blcokchain projects manage to achieve, so this is the kind of thing investors should look up to.

Disadvanatges of DeFi are the latent risk of too tight regulation from governments, bad coding quality that can make a hackers paradise.

BZ：the biggest challenge was to design a system that it is a lot simpler than competition but at the same time at least as powerful, so thats why we didn't try to add DeFi features to NULS and instead we decided to split in 2 blockchains, which proved a very good decision.

BZ：Nerve is designed to complement NULS, instead of writting a single fat bloated blockchain that tries to do everything, we split in 2 lean and fast blockchains that have different requirements but feed from each other, for example Nerve will use some NULS' facilities like the smart contract engine.
