一、Could you please briefly tell us about yourself, your role in the Nimbus team, and the project itself?

Hello everyone! First of all, I would like to thank all of you for participating in the AMA session. My Name is Olesya Seliverstova, and I'm the Senior PR and Marketing Manager at Nimbus Platform. A few words about my professional background: I have always been specializing in PR and Marketing. Through years of work with leading international companies and marketing agencies, I've really developed my skills and knowledge in this field. For now, I am very happy to be part of Nimbus.

Nimbus is a DAO governed DeFi platform that offers over 16 Reward Streams to a massive user base of over 50,000 community members. In the long run, Nimbus shall present a set of dApps including, Lending-Borrowing, P2P Exchange, IPO Hub, Crypto Trading dApps, and more.

二、What was the main reason for the decision to migrate to BSC? Could you explain how Nimbus Platform users will benefit from the migration to BSC?

We realize that high gas fees on the Ethereum network have become a serious challenge for our users. As a DeFi platform, inclusiveness is a big part of our mission. We do not want our users to suffer due to the limitations caused by the ridiculously high gas fees. Irrespective of the asset or user class, we want to offer the most rewarding experience to our community.

Binance Smart Chain saw a meteoric rise almost right after its launch in 2020, quickly becoming one of the go-to networks for users. One of the main reasons for this growth was the extremely low gas fees. Coupled with speedy transactions, seamless onboarding, and an enormous user base - makes BSC the perfect ground for Nimbus to flourish.

In our exploration, we quickly realized that we could offer our community up to 15X lower gas fees on BSC. And that is a benefit that will surely help us retain the inclusiveness and prosperity of our community.

Nimbus is also growing rapidly in Asian markets, especially in China, where most users prefer BSC as the primary network. It then makes logical sense to deploy the ecosystem and deliver to the needs of our community to the fullest. We have made several implementations to make the experience even more intuitive and rewarding for our users!

三、Will there be any differences between Nimbus on Ethereum and Nimbus on BSC?

There will be specific difference in the logic of Nimbus dApps on BSC to adjust to the underlying blockchain. For example, the APYs shall be different due to the gas fees difference between the two networks. In addition, the Nimbus Swap machine will display different token pairs compatible with BSC such as BUSD, BNB, WETH, CAKE, etc.

Beyond these minute differences, the benefits of Nimbus on BSC are even more profound with more perks.

四、?Could you please give more details on the implementations that were made for a smooth deployment of the Nimbus platform on BSC?

There are several key aspects to Nimbus's migration to BSC.

Switching from the Ethereum network to the BSC network will be a seamless process. Users can make the switch from the Nimbus interface with a single click. All you must do is connect your MetaMask wallet, choose “BSC Mainnet” as the primary network, and hit on "Switch network."

Moreover, you cannot employ the same ERC-20 NBU & GNBU tokens on both Ethereum and BSC networks. Hence, we have replicated both NBU and GNBU in the BEP-20 standard that is compatible with BSC. The Tokenomics of the BEP-20 tokens will remain constant, as mentioned in our Tokenomics,?here!

We have integrated the Nimbus Wrap machine, which acts as a bridge for seamless user onboarding. Users simply insert the ERC-20 NBU & GNBU tokens into the Wrap machine to convert them to BEP -20 NBU & GNBU tokens.

The transfer of tokens from ERC-20 to BEP-20 standards will be free of all costs. But by virtue of any interactions with the smart contract, the transfer of this exchange too will include the applicable gas fee. However, that's not a hindrance since the gas fees of BSC is 15x times lower.

The conversion of tokens between the two standards will be pegged to a 1:1 ratio. Meaning when you convert 100 NBU (ERC-20) tokens via the wrap machine, you will receive 100 NBU (BEP-20) tokens and nothing less! This means that the wrap machine is not only protecting users from market fluctuations but also allowing you to take advantage of the differences in token values.
